How Do You Install Parker Bow Strings?

0

The string on your Parker bow will wear out over time and need to be replaced. When a new string needs to be installed depends on the amount of shooting you do. Parker recommends a new string once a year for moderate to heavy use while a bow that is only used a few times a year can go for two years without a new string. Place the bow in a bow press and compress the limbs so that you can get the new string on. Place one of the string’s end loops on the cam post and follow the track on the outside of the cam. Run the string up and over the top cam. Bring the string back down through the cable slide and around the track on the cam module to the post. Decompress the limbs and remove the bow from the press.
