How Do You Draw The Human Anatomy?
Drawing the human anatomy is something that every illustrator must master if he is going to do figure drawing. Being able to draw the muscle structure of a human being allows an illustrator to keep his proportions correct and allows for more dynamic and realistic poses. Drawing the anatomy, specifically the musculature of a human, may seem like a challenging task; however, by using a basic frame and layering individual ovals for each muscle you can make this task much easier. Once you understand the pieces that make a human fit together you can draw a person in almost any setting. Draw the head with an oval near the top of the page. Mark out the guideline for the chest with a rectangle below the head. Draw the guideline for the hip bones with an upside down triangle. Add the arm guidelines with two perpendicular lines that start at the shoulders. Add the legs with two straight lines. Create the guidelines for the elbows, knees and hands with small circles. Add the muscles on the frame.
