What are some goals of the IBICA?
The Association hopes to consolidate and strengthen a common, BIC identity across the global church. This will be a key element of the role of the International Pastor/Teacher as he provides both on-site equipping and written resources with the global church in mind. The Association hopes to provide the framework for the global church to respond together to needs that arise across the church, whether for emergency relief, or a crisis of another nature facing one of our sister conferences. Further, we plan to resource developing conferences in areas of polity, leadership/governance dynamics, ministerial training/ordination understandings, as well as essential common-identity markers. We envision providing a forum for national leaders to address matters of common concern and challenges facing the church.
