What is the IBICA?
The IBICA provides a formally-recognized, global network to which any Brethren in Christ national conference may belong. The Association provides an established point of connection for churches in various stages of national development, whether a smaller cluster of congregations in a newer region or a larger, independent national church with a well-established general conference structure. International BIC leaders gathered together in 2006 initiated the Association with the election of an executive committee of six leaders, representing various regions of the world. This group was mandated to give shape to the Association.
