How Do You Mod The Nerf Maverick?
The Nerf-brand Maverick gun features a large capacity magazine clip for holding the foam darts that are fired. You can modify, or “mod,” the magazine clip so that the darts are not restricted from firing with the full force of the air pressure the Maverick’s firing piston generates. You will need a few household tools but no special mechanical skills. The modification will not affect the manner in which the Maverick is fired, although it will void any warranty that might be in place. Place the Maverick on a table with the barrel facing right. Remove the screws from the top-back edge near the hammer, the top-middle and the top-front edge near the tip of the barrel with the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the screws from the bottom-left and right sides of the trigger guard with the Phillips screwdriver.
