What is the Virsona® Dialog Engine (VDE)?
The Virsona Dialog Engine (VDE) is an integrated environment consisting of dozens of sophisticated natural language, logic, and search tools to imitate a conversation. The VDE combines open source code, proprietary code and licensed source code. The VDE has been developed to be highly extensible as we continue to add intelligence. It can support multiple languages and thousands of concurrent conversations at our websites or when integrated into corporate or personal use. The interface today looks like an instant messaging interface which is easy-to-use, well understood and popular in today’s world of virtual communication. One of the key underlying architectural tenets of the engine is to provide for massive scalability in Web2.0 architecture. This will allow us to support thousands of concurrent conversations with the engine, something that existing chatbot implementations cannot do.
