What is dialup?
Dialup allows you to connect to the Internet by dialling in to Netspace over a standard telephone line using a regular modem. Even with today’s proliferation of broadband options, many people still find dialup an easy and convenient way to access the Internet – especially as most new computers are now provided with a built-in modem. At a speed of 56k, dialup is slower than broadband but Netspace customers can take advantage of Netspace Accelerator to increase the speed of their dialup connection by up to 5 times.
