How did EAC originate?
A-EAC started as a big vision in the heart and mind of Penny Hiller as she taught ESL in elementary school by day, taught English to adults at night and trained tutors in the US to teach ESL on the weekends and trained tutors overseas during the summers in the 1990s. God planted a love for the nations in her heart, and she realized she could serve the nations by training inadequately trained teachers and train new tutors to teach English in an interactive way that would help students remember what they learned, enjoy doing it, and learn about the love of Jesus at the same time. One national teacher put it this way, “God connected me with Penny even before I knew I would desperately need her help and guidance. I can see how my teaching is getting more fun for my students and how I can incorporate Kingdom principles and Bible into my teaching.
