How Do You Take Care Of Goats?
Goats are blessed with many beautiful aspects, one being the simplicity of their care. Goats don’t require daily walks, and you don’t have to clean their litter box. The only thing they ask for is attention, food, water and a neat little shelter. If you have all this, combine it with a few simple steps, and you have what it takes to take care of goats. Make sure you have a sturdy fence in a big enough area for your goats. They should be able to run freely, have a secure gate and fencing high enough that they cannot jump it. Give them shelter. A small barn-like structure will work well for one or two goats, a larger structure for more. You can even hook up a shed lined with hay at the bottom and blankets for warmth. Provide plenty of water. A giant water trough is best, hosed down and refilled daily. They will kick over buckets. Feed them quality hay. Check your local feed store for good goat hay. Some of the cheaper varieties have no nutritional value. Supplement the regular diet with
