What is Neo-Geo?
Hi everyone, my name is Neo-Alec. I’m the owner and maintainer of this web site. Chances are that if you’re looking at this page you either stumbled upon this site without knowing what it is, or you’re just a Neo fan stopping by to check on what I have to say about the system. So what the $&%# is Neo-Geo, anyway? Well, I’m glad you asked that. To put it simply, the Neo-Geo is a video game system made by a Japanese company called SNK. It was released in Japan in 1990, and games are still being made for it right now (1999). That’s nine years so far! Very few systems have stayed alive for that long! Tremendous memory capacity! How has the Neo-Geo been able to keep its head above the water? It’s very simple; when it was released it was far ahead of the competition! In fact, to this day, no game system has better memory capacity than Neo-Geo!
