What is NCC infantry wing?
It is the Infantry Wing of the National Cadet Corps The Infantry Wing of NCC is operating with a sanctioned strength of 53 boy cadets. In addition to basic infantry and weapon training, cadets are being trained in small arms firing, social work, adventure activities, expeditions etc. Cadets are also sent for various Annual Training camps as well as All India level camps viz., Army Attachment Camp, National Integration Camps, Trekking Camps, and Special SSB Recruitment Capsules. The Institute feels proud in mentioning that cadets of this unit have joined army as commissioned officers. There are cadets who have been inducted in armed forces at various other levels as well. These cadets are successfully working at different places in India. A list of such cadets appears separately. The cadets take part in Republic Day as well as Independence Day parade at Dashahara Maidan.
