What is a pluralistic society?

0

A Pluralistic Society is a society which offers a variety of beliefs and insists that all belief systems are equally legitimate paths to God. This assumes there is no one belief system with “absolute truth” and that no one should make Exclusivist claims for their particular belief system. Since all belief systems are equally legitimate paths to God there should be no effort to “convert” anyone to Christianity. Conversion attempts (Christian Evangelism) are divisive value judgments which should be discouraged through sanction of law if necessary.
