Does OE5 support templates?
Although there is no template function in OE5 you have a number of ways to easily create templates. 1) Create your template and save it to the drafts folder. When you want to send, it copy it to the outbox by option+dragging it, double click on the copy in the outbox to open it and address it and make any changes you need to make before sending. 2) You can create the template in a text editor (SimpleText, TexEdit etc.) and use the “Insert Text file” AppleScript from the Script menu. For more on AppleScripts 3) You can create a rule which uses the “reply” action. This is good for auto-responses. 4) You can create a clipping file (not text file) and drag it into the body of a message. 5) You can also get OneClick and use the insert text button in the System Bar. The System Bar is sold as a standalone product for those that do not have the full version of OneClick.
