Are Labrador Retrievers hyperactive?

0

Because Labradors were bred to be working dogs, they are an energetic breed. Puppies are especially active, and Labs often don’t “mature” until around three years of age. This means that an owner may find themselves with a puppy in a large dog’s body. It is important to remember that a poorly trained, unexercised Lab of any age will probably present a problem for their owners, sometimes becoming destructive or unmanageable. If a Lab is adequately exercised and well-trained it’s hard to find a more loving, obedient pet.
