Does ISO use FileMaker on the web?

Well, a tricky question. Since the ISO website is hosted in Canada, for those of you who didn’t know, I don’t have direct control over the website. Paul Evad, our *wonderful* ISO webmaster uses an msql database and interacts with it via a scripting language called PHP. When the ISO web site gets information from a user, Paul has scripted it so that that information is forwarded to the ISO email address. Once it gets processed by an Emailer mail action, is is then imported (currently done manually – but soon to be automated) into a FileMaker database. That FileMaker database then automatically forwards information back to Emailer where it is sent back to the user. Half of this system is working, and as some of you may have realized, the response time from ISO has increased due an increase in the flow of email. One of the new features that we are planning is a system much like a fax-back system. We will, sometime in the future, send out an email list of files that we have available. You
