If you are after a more boutique-style luxury try one of the Chicago Boutique Hotels.  The Fairmont is  another one of the top hotels in Chicago.  With 687 rooms and84 Fairmont gold rooms and 65 suites, it is one of the larger boutique properties in the area and it is located in the heart of Millenium Center, near the Magnificent Mile,Chicago’s dining and shopping hub.  In fact a walkway connects the Fairmont Hotel directly to Chicago’s top club, The Lakeshore Athletic Club, which has a rock-climbing wall.

Each room boasts a 42-inch plasma television, an iPod docking station, high speed wireless access and all the creature comforts required for a luxury stay.  A 2-room suite with an extra bedroom, living room, dining room and a large wet bar lists at $369 as of July 2010.
