How Do You Fold A Money Origami Rosette?
Instructions for folding a fan rosette out of a single piece of paper money. This is useful for leaving tips, or giving wedding or graduation gifts. Sometimes you’ll see graduation leis made out of these strung together. It’s best to start with a fairly crisp bill. If you have one with a few folds in it, it will still work, but if it’s getting soft and crumpled, the pleats won’t look as crisp, and it will be harder to hold the rosette open. Fold your piece of paper money accordion style. Try to keep it even. It’s also ideal if the folds on each end are full size and pointing the same direction. If they aren’t, don’t panic, just tuck the extra end under. With the accordion pleats flat, fold the bill in half. Make sure you get the fold in the middle by lining up the ends.
