Do they make a good house dog?
The Thai Ridgeback is a very clean dog with no odor due to its short coat. They do not salivate a lot or drool. They are generally easy to house break. They will however take over the most comfortable furniture in your house. They will claim your bed, couch, or chair, unless you discourage this habit from puppyhood. They are good sized dogs, not so small as to be underneath you, not to big that they are constantly in the way. Their presence is formidable enough to intimidate a prowler. Their upright tail wags in a short radius, not knocking over your house plants or fragile items.
