We use high quality 6061 or 7075 T6 aluminum, commonly refered to as “aircraft aluminum”. We also machine with common brass, extruded acrylic, cold-rolled steel and even Delrin (which is a high tolerance plastic, not unlike nylon). In some instances we use ‘real world’ parts, but for the most part we like to machine each of the pieces involved in our sabers.
