Here are some straightforward guidelines for How to Format a Works Cited Page. (For articles on how to format each entry, see “Resources” below or “Related Articles” above, to the left.) The title of the page will be, simply: Works Cited This title should be centered, and it should not (heed these words!), should NOT be underlined, nor should it be put in caps, bold, quotation marks, a bigger font, or dressed in any other such flare. There should be no additional space between entries (the left-margin clues are enough to indicate that a new entry has begun – See Step 4 for indenting).
