What is IND 307?
The ACI London course is an interdisciplinary class and travel experience designed for Albertson College undergraduates. It combines writing, literature, art and history to investigate the past and present of London, one of the great world cities. Students spend time in class at ACI in the Fall and Winter sessions in preparation for a rich, guided, but lightly programmed experience in London, England and for five days of independent, student arranged travel either within the United Kingdom or to the European continent. Because of the organization of the course, formal coursework is shifted heavily to the Fall and to the first two weeks of the Winter Session. Students should expect to do more than 2 credits of work in the Fall semester and to do full days of work in the winter prior to our departure. Students should carry a light Fall load to compensate.
