1: Your only allowed to drive when supervised by an adult who’s held (and still holds) a full license for a minimum of 3 years and is 21 or over 2: Your also should at all times whilst ur behind the wheel be displaying L plates front and rear 3: Your not allowed on motorways (but this is only motorways, dosen’t apply 2 dual carriageway A Roads with 70mph limits or any other type of road) all the above rules apply the whole time ur on a provisonal until you’ve past both the theory and practical tests 4: The person supervising you dosen’t have to also be insured on the motor but it might be advisory that they do so they can help to demostrate manoveres etc or give u assistant should any problems occur and finally regardless of whether u hold a provisonal or full theres the same rules any other driver has such as having insurance, tax on the car, rules of the roads etc remembering if you don’t drive in those conditions your not covered on insurance circumstances
