Word 6 and 7 provide “Auto Correct” function for input characters from keyboard. You should disable this function for input CJK characters. Please go to Tools menu of MS-Word, select “AutoCorrect” item, disable all options of check box. If you found CJK display is totally wrong, please go to Tools menu of MS-Word, select “Options…” item then View tab dialog box, disable all options of check box in the Non-printing characters group. For Word 7, also please go to Tools menu of MS-Word, select “Options…” item then Spelling tab dialog box, disable “Automatic Spell Checking” check box in the Automatic Spell Checking group. For Japanese users, you also need to click Setup button to check “Map Japanese input for Word” on.
