Where did Danna study art?
Danna began her creative journey by having the fortune to be born into an artistic family. Her parents met while studying art at the Rhode Island School of Design. Encouragement to develop her talent from an early age led to many awards and local recognition, before Parsons School of Design offered Danna a scholarship to study art in New York City. Danna focused on fashion and illustration, working as an athletic footwear designer and freelance illustrator while still in school. Her first full-time job after graduation, designing shoes, took her around the world and gave her a greater understanding of how art meets function.
