0

Form 1099-LTC deals with benefits for long-term care and accelerated death benefits. The latter are benefits for life insurance that are paid to insured individuals certified by a physician as terminally ill. The date of said certification will be included on the form. It will be indicated if long-term care benefits were reimbursed or per diem. The policyholder and insured party should be sent this form by January 31 (or the first weekday after).
