I am enrolled in the Enhanced Program and have also enrolled my daughter. She is 20 years old and currently attends a university overseas. Can she receive ongoing dental care while she is abroad?
Yes. Although enrollees in the Enhanced Program are eligible only for emergency treatment when traveling overseas, an exception is made for family members enrolled in the Enhanced Program who are full-time students attending school overseas. Proof of your daughter’s full-time student status is required for her to obtain TRDP covered treatment (other than emergency services), up to the age of 23 while she is studying overseas.
