Whats an invocation?
During most all of our on-line rituals, as well as many real-world ones for a lot of the folk I know, we tend to “invoke” either our Lady or our Lady and Lord. We call upon Them to take note of our celebration. We invite Them to join us in the observance and the revel. We seek to establish that They (in whatever seasonal or culturalguise is appropriate to the working at hand) are among us. Invocations assist with a mind set for participants in giving each of us more concrete ideas and images through which to relate to the deities in a given Circle.
