What is Initial Velocity?
When a mass is given power to cause it to move inertially from the starting point frame of reference at zero plus second, the acceleration is maximal and its velocity is initially zero. As the acceleration decreases the velocity increases untill it reaches its maximum level. Therefore, in inertial system of motion at the starting point, the initial velocity is zero and acceleration is at its peak. However motion is relative to some moving frame of reference which also is subject to different acceleration. In non inertial system a mass moving toward a gravitational mass its acceleration increases with velocity. Its the opposite scenario to the inertial system.
