Where Is Middle Bald Mountain?
Middle Bald Mountain is located approximately 40 miles northwest of Fort Collins and approximately five miles southwest of the Red Feather Lakes area in the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 9, Township 9 North, Range 74 West. lat/long 40-45-56.5 N 105-42-27.0 W. The summit of Middle Bald Mountain, approximately 10,900 feet above sea level, is accessible via the Killpecker Creek Trail. The nearest motorized access is within approximately 1/4-mile of the summit on low-standard National Forest System Road 517 (NFSR 517).
