Why Are Cable Companies Such Crooks?
Jad A. says: Ever since moving to MA, I have tried the 2 notorious cable companies, RCN and Comcast. They both try to lure you in with the same trick, good offer for the first couple of months and after thats finished the nasty surprise of your bill being $20 more than the past months. Although there are still catchy offers for new customers, there is no way to get in on them even if you promise to stay in service with them for 1 year. Now my subscriptions include Internet and cable and I have no need for a phone and what do the salesman say when I complain about the pricing? Hey you can subscribe to all three services and save money. I know that on per-service basis I am saving but with all 3 bundled I am actually paying more than what I would pay for 2 of them by themselves per month. Without phone I would just be paying $10 less per month which saves me $120 per year.
