Why Did God Not Intercede?
It is at this point that the vengeful God of the Old Testament is revealed. God did not interfere because He would not override the free choice of his creations. God wanted both Adam and Eve to spurn the temptations of Lucifer to remain loyal to Him. It was basically Lucifer against Adam and Eve because other angels were not provided the privileges of Lucifer. Eve Could Not Go It Alone In order to experience the ultimate sexual satisfaction she craved Eve was going to bite into the forbidden fruit without thought to Adam. Lucifer was aware that if this occurred that God would destroy her and provide another mate for Adam. A mate Lucifer might not be able to influence. Lucifer misled her to believe that since she was a physical part of Adam that both had to partake of the fruit at the same time in order to obtain the desired results.
