What are “Black Irish”?

0

Im fairly sure it started when England had defeated the Spanish Armada, the Spanish Armada was on retreat, (the Spanish Armada was the biggest fleet in the world at the time), The Spanish had to go the long way through Britain, many of their ships crashed in a bad storm into the coast of Ireland, they mingled with some of the Irish, Black Irish is just a name for Irish with brown eyes and black hair and in general darker to the other Irish. Scotland doesn’t have any, unless the Irish went to Scotland later on of course. During the Irish potato famine a million Irish moved to mainly England and the US, so i guess you could say England has many Black English Irish considering millions of English have Irish decent, Liverpool (An City in England) had more Irish living in it then Dublin, Which was and still is the capital of Ireland. But black English is never used, neither is black Scottish.
