The CryoHist uses a membrane and vacuum system to orient tissue surfaces you are interested in for cutting frozen sections. Liquid Nitrogen is used to snap freeze the planar oriented tissue for histologic quality. The frozen tissue is then mounted on an object holder and brought to optimal cutting temperature.
