A node locked license allows Vue to work only on the computer it was installed on. For former Vue users, this is the same type of license as the one you are already using (except for xStream users). The only difference is in the activation process. Once installed, Vue will be activated using a simple online procedure (similar to previous product registration.
Node-locked licenses are licenses that are tied to a Windows C: hard-drive or Ethernet MAC address. It is essentially tied to a specific machine. Development tools licensed in this way are not tied to the network, and therefore they are as portable as the computer that is licensed (i.e. a laptop can be moved between work and home – or on the road for a development trip).
