Can food intolerances cause weight loss?

Yes. Food allergies and intolerances are notorious for messing with your weight. I personally gained weight from food intolerances, but you can just as easily lose weight as well. I cut out gluten first and it turned out to be the biggest cause for me. It’s probably the first one I’d suggest starting with because it’s usually the bulk of your diet so it’s going to affect you the most if you’re sensitive to it. Move to dairy then, that’s usually the second most common allergenic food in your diet. Then to eggs and on down the common allergen list. If you’re still having symptoms you can try other foods as well. I’m allergic to pineapple and bananas too which are less common allergies. Food can definitely cause changes in your weight. I’ve been trying to lose weight for awhile and it wasn’t until I cut out my allergens that I finally started to lose weight. I’m not even watching calories at all and I feel like I’m eating a lot of food but I’m still losing weight. Definitely look to food
