What is the CGA program?
The Certified Graduate Associate (CGA) is a professional designation offered by NAHB for its associate members. The CGA is earned by completing 36 hours of classroom instruction in three required and three elective courses. The classes are the same that builders and remodelers take for their CGB and CGR designations, so while associates learn about the home building industry, they can also network and build relationships with potential customers. Why bring the CGA program to your association? • Associate members will increase their industry knowledge and better understand how to meet builder needs. An educated associate will be more successful in gaining builder business, and more likely to renew their membership. • Associates will appreciate being able to take classes with builders and having the opportunity to develop relationships in an informal setting. • Members who participate in education are more likely to take an active role in the association and to recruit new members. • CGA
