How are the MPs graded?
We deduct points for failure to follow the directions. For example, if we say you are supposed to use a formula to find a total, and you fail to do so, you might lose 2 or 3 points. If you fail to make font bold when we call for it, you might lose one point. The exact algorithm that we use is posted on the web once all the MPs are turned in. We cannot anticipate what you will do on an MP, so the algorithm is a guide. If you do something that is clearly wrong, you will lose points even if that particular thing is not on the algorithm.
