Hawk-Seal-E is a naphthenic emulsion combined with copolymers. Hawk-Seal has a natural affinity for asphalt. Naphthenic emulsion contains the high-end fractions (solvents) of asphalt. These fractions are removed from asphalt as it ages, leaving it dry and brittle. Naphthenic emulsion penetrates into asphalt. This unique combination gives Hawk-Seal-E its ability to penetrate, waterproof and protect an asphalt surface. This product is highly resistant to oxidation. The copolymers add surface strength.
