How can i upgrade my cpu speed?

You won’t be able to upgrade your laptop from 1.66GHz to 2.4GHz because the technology between them is different and would require a different motherboard (which you could never get for your model). And even if you could, the cost of the CPU and the motherboard and RAM (and labor) would probably nearly equal/exceed the cost of a new laptop. Laptops are just not upgradable the way a generic desktop PC is. Sorry… I just remembered that if you multiply a laptop Pentium mobile CPU speed by 1.5 you will get the equivalent desktop Pentium 4 CPU speed. 1.66 x 1.5 = 2.49! However, laptops don’t perform as well as the equivalent speed would imply because they are built to conserve energy (the battery) and they appear to have a lag compared to desktop PCs. However, if you max out the RAM, you may not notice little things like that. I think it’ll work fine if you load it to the gills with RAM.
