What is Pampered Feet and Reflexology?
Pampered Feet begins with a warm, soothing foot bath and a foot polish (to remove any dry skin). Progresses to the Reflexology Session and ends with lotion being applied to the feet and the client receives a foot massage. This session is about one hour to one hour and 15 minutes. History of Reflexology Reflexology is not a new method of treatment. It goes back at least 5000 years when some form of pressure therapy was practiced in China, India and Egypt. The oldest documentation depicting the practice of Reflexology was unearthed in Egypt. This evidence, a pictograph dated around 2500-2300 BC, was found in the tomb of an Egyptian physician, Amkmahor, at Saqqara. The study and development of reflex therapy by pioneering Europeans and enterprising Americans laid the foundations of reflexology as we know it today.
