Why are scores reported quarterly?
CE registries such as ASHA’s typically require that a continuously ongoing activity, such as journal-based CE, file on a few selected dates each year, rather than continuously. While we send YOU continuous and immediate confirmation of your activities to use in state and local reporting, your results may take a few months to show up on the ASHA registry. Your CEs are considered earned when we notify you, not when they are later posted to the registry. That is why we send you an individual confirmatory certificate right after you complete each issue. Please remember to give us your ASHA or AAA number! The CE registries that we report to, ASHA and AAA, require some way to identify you. For ASHA, we need either your ASHA number or your social security number. For AAA, we need your AAA number.
