WHY USA WRESTLING?
USA Wrestling is the national governing body for wrestling in the United States. It is involved in all wrestling outside of the high school and college systems. This organization hosts competitions for athletes of all ages all across the nation. USA Wrestling has thousands of volunteers and a national staff dedicated to serving its members. Women’s wrestling is one of the fastest growing segments of the sport. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? Join a club – USA Wrestling clubs are available in many communities. Coaches, parents and volunteers come together to provide training and competition opportunities for young people. Compete at a local tournament – USA Wrestling has 49 state associations, all which provide local and state level competition for athletes.
