Where Have All The Great Jobs Gone?
(PressReleasePoint) In doing Success Coaching, also called Life Coaching with clients all over the world, I often hear the same complaints over and over again. “Great jobs are hard to find these days.” My response is always the same: That’s not true. Great jobs are only hard to find if someone has an employee mentality. To be truly successful in today’s very competitive job force, you must bring an employer or ownership mentality and work ethic to your job every day. What do I mean by that? Instead of always saying “it’s not my job” and taking the low road which is often the quick path to a pink slip take a “what can I do to solve this problem” approach. That is to say, think and act like the owner of the company would think and act. I have worked with and currently work with many professional clients who have developed some good skill sets in their current occupation but who tend to take the safe route and miss true opportunity.
