Don’t just limit yourself to swapping prom gowns—shoes, bags and other accessories are practical swappable items, too. Schedule a day on the weekend for the prom gown swap. A weekend works best since the guests will be out of school. Several weeks prior to the prom works best, as it gives teens enough time to plan the rest of their ensemble to go with their swapped gowns. Prepare and send invitations.
