Why does the brush head rattle when I use my Sonicare toothbrush?
Your Sonicare toothbrush should produce a gentle hum during operation. Tightening the cuff that holds the brush head to the handle can eliminate excessive rattling. If rattling doesn’t stop, you may need to replace the brush head. My Sonicare toothbrush makes a loud noise when I turn it on. What should I do? Be sure to remove the clear plastic travel cap from the brush head before turning on your Sonicare toothbrush. Also, make sure the cuff that holds the brush head to the handle is secure. What should I do if my Sonicare develops an odor? Try one of the following: Clean your Sonicare thoroughly according to our instructions. Replace your brush head with a new one.
