Where did Beryl come from?
Well, according to the NA version of Sailor Moon, she came from the “Negaverse,” but according to the manga (Jap comic book by Naoko Takeuchi, the original creator of Sailor Moon), she lived on Earth, and even served under Endymion. In fact, the four generals of Beryl were once generals of Endymion. I’ve heard it said that Zoisite was the first to turn against Endymion, and so convinced the others to join with Beryl. Also, Beryl made the mistake of freeing the wicked queen Metalia (the “Negaforce” in the NA version), thus being blessed with negative powers. And so, Beryl, hungry for more power and control, turned against her Prince and worked to bring the world into chaos and darkness.
