Does NARA lend original documents for exhibition use?
Original documents may be loaned for exhibition to qualified institutions for the purpose of informing and educating the public about NARA, its holdings, or the national experience, while ensuring their continued availability for the future. Borrowers must submit a written request at least 120 days in advance of loan date and include an American Association of Museums Standard Facility Report or equivalent.
