How Do You Be A Pop Culture Icon?
Ask most any kid and they’ll tell you who their hero is. Most likely that very same hero is a member (whether they want to be or not) of the pop culture, well, culture. Even many young adults would subscribe to the idea that they too would like to be a member of the pop culture machine (even if it means that they will lose their individual identity). The point is, many Americans would enjoy being a driving force in what is considered “popular.” Perhaps this is based on the common emotional need to be accepted by the masses. Nonetheless, the road to becoming a pop culture icon is based on some simple tenants. The eventual success of doing so is solely up to the effort put forth in direct relationship to the trends in the American psyche.
