Why play arcane?
Besides superior damage and great design and plenty of fun, arcane is a very unique tree. As an arcane mage your spells hit incredibly hard and you have short cooldowns at your disposal at as well. Your rotation revolves around two-three spells at most times and your mana is the only resource holding back your dps. Now that you have decided to play arcane, we’ll go over the how’s and what’s of playing as arcane. Since your likely interested in pulling maximum dps, take your time to read about stats, rotations, talents, etc. Talents Basic Build (57/3/11) – Your basic arcane build with not much to move around other than Incantor’s Absorption which you can move around into Slow or Arcane Focus or anything else you wish. Glyphs Slot 1: Arcane Blast – A straight DPS increase in our main spell. Slot 2: Arcane Missile – Allows your arcane missiles to crit harder, and they crit a lot too.
