What does ResNet support?
ResNet officially supports only the network connection through the ResNet Service. The ResNet Computer Consultants (RCCs) that are trained by ResNet are only trained heavily for installing and troubleshooting the network card. Time permitting, our RCCs will help with other problems if they have the personal knowledge to do so. This list states what support level ResNet provides for various software, hardware, and other technologies in use by students. ResNet supports students enrolled at Davidson College. Supported • Supported software • Hardware (only if the computer is part of the student lease program) • Post-installation questions about Operating Systems • Wireless networking • Unified Messaging Best Guess • Hardware (that isn’t part of the student lease program) • Peripherals (printers, scanners, digital cameras, PDAs, etc.) • Unsupported Software Unsupported • Games • Operating System installation Cable Students should visit the Cable TV Web site for the latest information.
